A saloon, a man, and a city that needed both.
Butch McGuire opened these doors on June 16, 1961. Same corner. Same family. Over 10,000 couples have met here. Chicago has changed around us. We're still here.
What a week. Anniversary Week brought a charity concert at Mary Jo McGuire's, our Main Anniversary Party on Division Street, and a Bourbon Raffle that raised $5,600 for Mercy Home for Boys & Girls. Thank you for 65 years of stories — come add yours.
