Remembering Coach Ditka

Chicago lost a legend this week. Mike Ditka was more than a coach. He was Chicago: tough, loud, loyal, and never afraid to show up for this city.

In 1988, a couple of years after the Bears brought a Super Bowl home, Coach came down to Division Street to shoot a commercial right here at Butch's. Bobby McGuire was behind the bar that day, pouring like any other night. And if you look at the table, that's Butch himself, right in the middle of it.

Nearly forty years later, it's a little piece of our history, and a little piece of his.
